When Will My Payoff be Actually Made?

Your payoff will be OVERNIGHTED within 3 business days of the transaction.  The Lienholder of financial institution can typically take 7-10 business days to process the payment, satisfy the lien and release the title. 

What Forms of Payment do You Take?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Of course, we accept personal local checks as well, along with Wire Transfer or Cashier's Checks written on US accounts with US funds.  If you are planning on paying with a credit card, please note that for amounts greater than $500 a small percentage fee may apply. We try to make it as simple as possible.

What Process do Vehicles Undergo Before Resale?
All our vehicles are given a mandatory 172 point detail, a physical inspection with all safety features corrected, a written description, photographed, video recorded, fully detailed. How does Pricing Work? Are They Negotiable?
We are a priced to market dealer, which means we price all of our vehicles very aggressively to match other like model/mileage vehicles in the area. Before we put a price on a car, we look at market trends, competitor prices, national and local used car prices and other factors. Our price reflects exactly what we need to sell the vehicle for to give the customer Exceptional Value at a fair price. When Can I Get My License Plate?

You must first receive your title paperwork. The State of Georgia provides Shottenkirk Ford 21 days from the transaction date to provide you with the title paperwork. The title paperwork will be sent out CERTIFIED USPS MAIL. The title paperwork WILL require a signature for final delivery. Getting the physical license plates is ultimately your responsibility.

What do I need to bring with me to buy a vehicle?
To make the process as efficient as possible, we recommend you bring the following items; Valid Drivers License, Proof of Insurance, Proof of income (Check Stubs or 6 months of bank deposits), Proof of Residency, Payoff amount on current vehicle and the lender contact information.

Absolutely! A New Ford can be ordered directly from the factory with your specifications or we can locate one at another Ford dealership and have it shipped to us. Let us know what you are looking for and we will be glad to locate and acquire a vehicle for you.

Can You get Any Used Vehicle that You Don't Have in Stock?

Do You Offer Vehicle Financing?

Yes, we have several financial institutions that compete for your business and we will hand select the best lender for your given situation.  This generally means that we can get you a better rate by shopping around than you can get for yourself. Do You Offer Service Contracts or Extended Warranties?
Yes. Shottenkirk Ford Jasper has several extended service contracts that vary in coverage and are adjustable to fit your needs with respect to time and mileage.  These obviously change on a vehicle-to-vehicle basis, so if you have any questions, any one of our salespeople can help you out.

Do I Have to Have a Down Payment?

No. A down payment is not required to finance a vehicle. However, a down payment can make a huge impact for customers looking for a certain monthly payment or those who want a shorter loan term. Also, those with less than desirable credit have a better chance of getting approved with a down payment, It shows the lending company a personal investment into the vehicle. We typically suggest at least a 10% down payment for most customers.
